Death of Moses...
Well, finally got back to blogging again. Well, people, so sorry for the lack of updates, will really look into that ASAP. Have had a lot of things to do and put right nowadays. With these higher priority issues, I have but no choice but not to update the blog as regularly as I would have like to. Do hope that I would be able to start and continue blogging again! Thanks for all the support guys. I will at the barest minimum maintain the tagboard, so leave me a message there yeah? Thanks!
Anyway, today passage is on the death of Moses. Remember God what God said? Here is a refresher, "Then God said to him, "This is the land which I swore to Abraham, Issac and Jacob saying, 'I will give it to your descendants'; I have let you see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there"" Deuteronomy 34:5. And will that the following verse, Moses died.
The passage brought me a thought, you know, life is short. We tend to worry too much, especially me... I worry more today than years before... There are just so much to think about... Not sure if you all have watch the Lord of The Rings: Return of the King. The show was part of a trilogy with by J. R. R. Tokien with biblical undertones. And there was a part spoken by Gandalf which struck me. I will paraphase it: "It is not about how much time you life, but how you live the time you have."
Indeed like Moses. By 120 years old the bible recorded that "Although Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died, his eye was not dim, not his vigor abated." Deuteronomy 34:7. What a testimony. In life there maybe a lot of trials, tribulation, sadness, unhappiness and unfulfilled dreams... But what are we to do. Mourn and cry over things that have already been done or stand up and fight again - thus living life to the fulness? I know it is easier said than done, but we need to stand together. The darker the hour the stronger must we stand and face the problems. Running away is NEVER a solution to it.
I do hope that all of our would continue to stand fast and hold on to our faith. That we would not quiver and shake when the going gets tough, rather let us keep the faith and run a good race. Such that when the time comes for us to pass away from this Earth, we would know we have live a life well spent.
Do not brood over the things of the past, let us all look to the future and make it a better place for ourselves, no matter when we are and what we are doing. Yosh! :"P

Blessings of Moses
Chapter 33 of Deuteronomy basically talks the blessings of Moses on each of the 12 tribes and finally Israel as a whole.
Special attention should be given to the last verse. "Blessed are you, O Israel; who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, who is the shield of your help, and the sword of your majesty! So your enemies shall cringe before you, and you shall tread upon their high places. Deuteronomy 33:29. A thought came to my mind. We like the Israel are set apart from the world. Let us help each other fellow Christians. May we all continue to grow in the Lord always.
Do continue to keep in touch, people and remember not to forsake the assembly of the believers, i.e. go to church as well as pray and read the bible everyday! Yosh!

Change of plans! Chapter by chapter now! :"P
Harlow, I am going to start to blog everyday as before. However, will do it chapter by chapter instead of taking 5 Chapters at one shot. This would give a more detailed look into each chapter as well! :"P
The first thing that struck me was the following verse. "Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask the father, and he will shew thee; thy elders and they will tell thee." Deuteronomy 32:7. How many times have we forgotten how wonderful God was, guiding us. We always tend to forget God especially in 2 general situations. 1. When times are good and 2. when times are really bad. When times are good, we put God in a small corner and enjoy life. When times are really bad and hopeless, we forget all the times God has guide and lead us through other difficulties.
Let us never forget all the things God has done for us. Remember, our God is the almighty God who will never leave us nor forsake us! Remember and never forget God.
The second thing that struck me was this verse. "Vengenance is Mine, and retribution, In due time their foot will slip; for the day opf their calamity is near, and the impending things are hastening upon them. Deuteronomy 32:35. How many times have we grumbled against God regarding our enemies and take matters into our own hand. Let us always forgive and forget. Let God decide as to what is best to do. Love your enemies... Remember that... :"P
